Context
This set of examples shows bathroom renovations carried out in Portugal on existing spaces, retaining drainage points wherever possible to control costs and simplify the intervention.

Challenge
The main challenge was to create modern, functional bathrooms by working on older rooms with poor light, outdated fittings and limited storage capacity.

Intervention Strategy
Applying the same finish material to all surfaces — floor, walls and ceiling — simplified execution and improved labour cost management. This solution also gives the space a continuous reading, reinforcing the perception of unity and volume.
Materials and Storage
Continuous microcement finishes were used and recessed niches were built into the walls, serving both storage and visual organisation functions.
Before and After

Other Examples
In other cases, the renovation included the creation of continuous shower areas separated by glass panels and the integration of concealed storage, maintaining a clean, coherent overall appearance.
