Overview
Teambox works according to a clear, structured process suited to the different phases of an architecture project. We define stages, responsibilities and decision points with precision, so you always know where things stand and what to expect next.
The goal is to make the process understandable and predictable, avoiding unnecessary complications. Each stage is explained before it begins, and every decision is well-founded, promoting alignment between expectations, needs and real possibilities.
Initial analysis
Understanding the objective and context
We begin by understanding what you want and how you live in the space: priorities, constraints, goals and expectations. We also assess the site, applicable regulations and technical limitations that influence the project.
At this stage we identify risks, opportunities and critical points that need to be considered from the outset, enabling more informed decisions in the stages that follow.
Concept study
First solutions and interpretation of the place
We develop preliminary proposals that explore different possible scenarios. We analyse light, circulation, massing and the relationship with the surrounding context.
The focus is on finding balanced, realistic solutions suited to the client's needs and the characteristics of the site or building, without yet moving into technical detail.
Planning permission
Technical documentation and submission to the local authority
Once the solution is defined, we prepare the documents required for planning permission, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. We handle the submission, follow up on the process and respond to requests for clarification or adjustments from the authorities.
The goal is to maintain a technically sound and consistent process throughout the entire procedure.
Construction drawings
Technical detail for construction
We develop plans, sections, elevations, construction details and technical specifications that allow the work to be carried out with precision. This phase anticipates problems, clarifies solutions and reduces ambiguity during construction.
The work is developed in coordination with engineers and other technical parties, ensuring compatibility across all disciplines.
Construction supervision
Site visits and compliance verification
During construction we carry out site visits to verify compliance with the project and clarify doubts directly on site. We assess alternatives when unforeseen issues arise and adjust solutions as needed.
Supervision helps reduce risks, avoid rushed decisions and improve communication between the client, contractor and technical team.
Completion and post-construction
Final checks and additional support
At the end of construction we assess critical points, verify finishes, alignments and anything requiring correction. Where applicable, we support the client with additional processes such as regularisations, certification applications or supplementary documentation.
How we ensure clarity throughout
- We explain each stage before beginning the next.
- We justify technical decisions clearly and realistically.
- We maintain continuous, transparent communication.
- We adjust the level of detail to the real needs of each project.
- We reduce risks and uncertainties, without making absolute promises.
Geographic availability
We develop projects and supervise construction in Lisbon and other regions of Portugal.
